Learning from Others

Children are surely one of God’s greatest gifts and truest challenges. To share your life with a child is to humble yourself so that you may learn from them and discover with them the beautiful secrets that are only uncovered in searching.

It is a great gift to be able to learn lessons from others, especially ones you wouldn’t expect to learn. Many experiences go awry, but a lesson can usually be extracted if you look at the experience non-judgementally. Sometimes the worst people can be the best teachers, they really can. Learning what not to do, and what doesn’t work is just as important as learning what to do.
